Programs/Activities: FAC Cycling Club
This outdoor cycling group is meant for any and all levels of bike riders—male and female—riding on the roads around the area (although we welcome mountain bikes, if you prefer). This Club is a great way to meet fellow riders, and learn how to ride in a group with a group leader. We will be having organized, no-drop rides throughout the upcoming months, as well as social events such as maintenance clinics, BBQ’s, and miscellaneous events to be determined. Some examples of the seasonal bike rides are below:
Saturday, 8:30am— “Cruise the County.” A leisurely Boulder ride, heading south to Louisville, east to Erie, north to Niwot then west back to Boulder. 40 miles. Ride Leaders: Steph W./ Dick W.
Saturday, 8:30am. Carter Lake. Long, slow distance. Flats and rolling hills with a challenging climb up to the lake. 70 miles Ride Leaders: Eric G./Staff
Saturday, Season Finale! Name Your Fave! Email us your preferred route! The most requested ride will be selected, or your leaders will provide their own unique spin! Join us back at FAC for snacks and beverages Ride Leaders: Eric M./David C.
Wednesdays, 12-1:30pm—20-25 miles. Easy to Moderate Pace.
All Rides are NO DROP (You won’t be left behind!)
